An Osteopathic perspective on the role of the gut in obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, anxiety and depression. This course will help you:
Gain a historical perspective on gut research and review current understanding of gut led autoimmune and metabolic dysfunction
Give you an anatomical review of the gut and its neural and vascular supplies
The opportunity to practically explore functional, visceral, cranial and biodynamic approaches to the treatment of the gut
Some experience of working with Osteopathy in the Cranial Field or the Biodynamic Approach would be helpful, but not essential.
